If you ever have to assemble something or do repairs on it. There are often screws that hold things in place. Now and then, the screws require a screwdriver and the heads might get stripped out. Some things that you need to open or take apart use a thumb screw. Thumb screws make it much easier for me to perform maintenance or assemble things. When we look for furniture or things with access panels secured with thumbscrews we will tend to purchase that item of one of equal quality with Phillips or a standard type screw.
